This is a very good example of a dog figural nutcracker. It is very good casing in cast iron.

It has nice original paint as seen in pictures( black dog with reddish base). Lots of neat detailing., embossed on the base is "DOG TRAY NUT CRACKER''.

It measures : base 9 1/2'x2 1/2",from dogs nose to end of tail is about 13",& about 6" tall.

Under the base is embossed HARPER SUPPLY CO. NO. CHICAGO PAT. APPLIED FOR. Handle lifts to insert nut in mouth and then press tail down to crack it.

Nutcracker is in very nice condition. It will appeal to dog lovers, nutcracker collectors, or just a unique fun piece to have.
